This episode is also available as a podcast

Receiving a psoriasis diagnosis can be daunting but it's actually the first step towards managing the condition. The first episode of the four-part Beyond Expectations: PsO Let’s Talk Psoriasis series explains in simple terms what exactly psoriasis is, what causes it, and what a typical treatment journey might look like.

Hosted by radio and TV broadcaster and columnist, Dr Ciara Kelly, viewers will receive reliable, expert information from Prof. Brian Kirby, Consultant Dermatologist and Dr Paul D'Alton, Clinical Psychologist, both at St Vincent’s University Hospital. They are joined by photographer Damien Broderick who has been living with psoriasis since the age of 18. Our panel of experts also tackle some of the most commonly asked questions by people recently diagnosed with psoriasis as well as setting the record straight by busting some myths!
